Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) diet has tremendous potential to reduce weight. It comprises of 244 amino acids. HCG is heterodimeric as it contains sub units α (alpha) and β (beta). Α sub unit is equivalent to various hormones such as LH, FSH and TSH. β sub unit is unique in HCG.

HCG is injected into the body either in the form of hormone injections or drops or pills placed under the tongue. A HCG treatment session consists of a minimum of 26 days and a maximum of 43 days. Daily hormone injections or pills are provided to the dieter for the first 26 days.

If the dieter sheds weight of 15 to 18 kilograms, then immediately break will be given for the session. The break goes for about four weeks. The break time is crucial to retune the body as per normal dietary conditions. In addition to the injections or drops, only 500 calories of food is allowed.

In this process the body will take the extra needed energy by melting the excess fat present in the body. It is also to be noted that body needs about 3 days time to feel the impact of HCG.

Risk & Side Effects Involved In HCG Ultra Diet Plan

During the process of HCG ultra diet plan, dieters should avoid dairy products, alcohol and sugar. The food should consist of high amount of proteins and fat and low amount of starch and carbohydrates. A maximum of four sessions of HCG ultra diet plan can be administered for an individual.

Those who are undergoing HCG ultra diet plan should carefully go through the disclaimer on the prescription as it mentions many side effects. Some of the side effects include headache, restlessness, constipation, cramps in the leg, hair falling, depression and enlargement of breasts in male.

Women may feel pregnancy like conditions in the body such as breast tenderness, swelling and retention of water in the body. Other kidney, stomach and lung related issues may be reported by some patients.

HCG ultra diet can be noted as a next big thing in weight loss programs. Program implementers and those who are undergoing HCG ultra diet should be very careful as reducing body weight at the rate of 1 pound per day is an alarming situation.

In general adult women require 1800 to 2400 calories of energy per day. Adult men require 2000 to 3000 calories of energy per day. The amount of energy required varies from one person to another person and it also depends on the amount of exertion delivered by a person.

If you are seriously pursuing the weight reduction plan through HCG ultra diet, you should be very careful in assessing the impact as you should not get additional complications after shedding weight in the body.
